Inspired by those cute Mormon boys who ride their bikes around our neighborhood, the biker Babes are on their very own mission… To Salt Lake City Utah home of the Mormons!!
They did get a bit of a late start due to an unfortunate incident with a faulty piece of equipment that had to be replaced. Fortunately, that happen before they left the house. Yeah, it was just a little $300 piece of luggage from Harley-Davidson… Glad it was made so well! Not! Enough of the kvetching. Now onto the ride.
Using the Mormon boys, as their inspiration, the biker babes did hop on their bikes. But their bikes are a wee bit different than those Mormon bikes. well… A little bigger, and a smidgen bit faster. But fear not, the biker babes had more similarities to the Mormon missionaries. Just like Mormons the babes wore their black pants and their very practical black shoes. But the biker babes shoes did have steel toes... Pretty sure, the Mormons do not have steel toes on their shoes.. Who's ass would they need to be kicking?? The biker babes decided to differentiate themselves from the Moormans by not wearing those crisp neatly ironed white shirts with the skinny little black ties. Instead the biker babes opted for gray mesh Kevlar jackets And really nifty cool neon green vests that are so visible you had to wear sunglasses when you were looking at those hot biker babes.
off the babes, finally, went cruising through Woodland, Past Sacramento, and off to Reno. As the Babes went through the Nevada mountains they did experience smoke from the forest fires and it was a little difficult to breathe. Yet, this year, we all must be very proud of Biffy for knowing the difference between smoke and fog. Yes, a few years back we all remember there was an incident.… As the BBs cruised through the Oregon forest in the middle of the afternoon she just couldn't understand why there was so much fog.… at a rest stop, Biffy happen to mention to super Sheri that she was perplexed by all the fog. SuperSheri had to take a deep breath, look Biffy in the eye and let her know that that fog was not at all fog... it was smoke.... From the fires that were all over the news... The news Biffy obsessively watched!!! We are all grateful that Biffy does have the capacity to learn the difference between Fog and smoke..
Soon after the smoke incident, the biker babes encountered one more incident. Curiously, the biker babes crossed paths with a semi truck from Mike Kolb trucking!! Yeah, that would be Sheri's brother's company. Those darn Kolbs they are everywhere!!
Biffy also crossed paths with an older woman in a nice conservative car. The woman was smiling from ear to ear giving Biffy the thumbs up and mouthing the word women!!! Yea, it's pretty cool to have complete strangers giving the thumbs up.... And yuppers ... Biker babes rock!!!
The day went along beautifully as the BBs cruised through with the Nevada mountains and hit the beautiful salt flats. Could there be anything more beautiful? Nature is amazing. The salt flats truly are awesome ! And what would the salt flats be without a little art in the middle of the salt flats! The biker babes try to get a picture of this very strange, art, tree, thingy out in the middle of the salt falts What would life be without art......
The biker babes were doing swell. The sun was going down and it was getting a little late as they were cruising through the salt flats. Then all of a sudden, oh boy, oh boy!! Out of nowhere, came 50 mile an hour winds!! Holy fucking shit!! That's really hard to keep the bike upright on. Fortunately, a very nice semitruck came alongside of the biker babes and cut some of the wind down. The biker babes are ever so grateful to that trucker! 50 miles an hour winds are not bikes favorite friends but semitruck drivers are the biker babes new BFFs.
Check out the book that was in the nightstand drawer ... For real....no bible, no Book of Mormon ..... A fri ken Hindu spiritual book!!! Ah Utah the heart of amazing diversity!!!
That is all for today oh boy what adventures await tomorrow?
