The journey begins!!!! Yahoo, we are on vacation and on the bikes. Can't be a better way to spend a vacation!!! We got a bit of a latter start than anticipated. Since we are on vacation we decided to sleep in late this morning. And then Sheri had all kinds of challenges with the strap-ons. And ya'd think someone like Sheri would know all about strap-ons but these were particularly challening yet, our Super Hero Sheri called upon her special strap on powers and finally got the LUGGAGE all.....strapped on.....(now, now, what did you think we were referring too......) The -picture is of our bikes and Sheri (duh) in Fallon Navada.
It was a beautiful ride. It was great going through the weather changes and in mere seconds feeling the temperature drop a good twenty degrees as we rode throught the pass to Reno. When we turned onto hwy 50 we did hit a bit of wind. And lucky lucky Biffy got a free facial - when the wind blew a wee bit of dessert sand in her face. It wasn't really a facial....maybe more of a facial ouchy SCRUB. But Bif now does have the lovilest, smoothest skin...just like a babys butt!!
We've been teasing you all that this year we wouldn't be brinigng the rubber chicke
n because we had a new campion. And we would like to introduce you all to TERBEAR. Terbear looks strickingly similar to our very good friend Terri who'd be on this trip if it weren't for a little problem with her leg. Even though she couldn't come in person her twin - TERBEAR will be with us every mile!! Biffy, hand made the cute bear, stitch, by stitch. Sheri helped make sure TerBear was properly attired for the ride. So - welcome TerBear to our blog and our journey!!! The pictures show TerBear from the front and back sides, in her riding gear, strapped -on (yea we love 
strappping things on) to the bike and in some interesting adventures and meeting a pirate in Fallon Nevada. Oh yea don't forget to look at the last picture. Sheri and Bif got matching shirts for the ride - gotta love em. Let us hear from ya!!!
