Day 16- Bedazzled Horses, Dinosaurs on Rooftops and Holy Water

Omg, omg a miracle happened!!! todays story must start the miracle! The biker babes were riding through the boader between Nebraska and Wyoming. right at the border is this huge freaking Virgin Mary. It is at least 30 feet tall! Just as the babes past the virgin little drops of rain dripped from the sky .....it wasn't rain it was holy water !!! The biker babes received a Devine blessing from above !!

Now wether or not this blessing is a good thing is still to be determined. Especially, since Biffy has a nefarious history with the Catholic Church .... Something about three churches being hit by lightening within a week of Biffy moving into the hood ... Coincidence......So, we're hoping this blessing from above is a good thing.

Now on to what happened during the rest of the day.

The biker babes flew through cornfield, after Cornfield, after cornfield! There sure is a lot of corn in Nebraska. Hopefully, this time super Sheri was able to see that corn. Last time, somehow, the corn went missing as she was riding through.

the Nebraskans are quite creative. In some of the cornfields mysteriously placed were large, large, objects, like: giant tanks, airplanes, dinosaurs and wolves! They were just randomly place in the middle of cornfields... Certainly have the biker babes something to look forward to as the wonder what they'd see next!!!

At one point during the ride, biffy was in desperate need of coffee. As we all know during this trip she has been drinking an unusual amount of coffee. So they pulled off In grand island Nebraska. well that Starbucks was ooo maybe 20 miles off path! Super Sheri wasn't too thrilled about it but did it for Biffy.

Oh joy, joy, the coffee detour wasn't just for the coffee! If Biffy spotted it,  yup, she spotted a roadside oddity!!! It was a bedazzeled horse flying through the air! It was a thing of beauty. The picture just doesn't do it justice but it was all twinkly and sparkly and moving up and down. Biffy loved that horsey.

Periodically, during the day the biker babes also spotted a number of green dinosaurs on top of roof tops! They look cute little dinosaurs, just not sure why the Armuth text! Oh, maybe because they're the mascot for Sinclair gas.

At one of the gas stations they could see an unusual sight. At the gas pump rather then it being cement it was  marble! What kind of weird is that! At that same gas station and Biffy  went into get some drinks, the clerk was so excited to see two women on bikes and she was Shouting "girl power, girl power" and she shook biffys hand and was so impressed about the biker babes journey. Everywhere those babes go the encounter peopl like that - truly heart warming and encouraging for the babes!

Most of the day was a beautiful ride, with clear blue skies and nice temperatures. the biker babes that finally got to the end of Nebraska and Road into Wyoming, seeing Virgin Mary of course. The land changed and then clearly out of the cornfields as they got into the Rocky Mountains!

Out of the mountains they did see a huge, huge statue of Abraham Lincoln overlooking them as they rode through Wyoming. Soon they got their destination in Laramie Wyoming and bedded down for the night. And the room had a most beautiful view of the sunset perfect way to end a long day.

Up bright and early to ride, ride, ride!!!
